This month's Record You Should Own is a disc that everyone should have in their collection. It's the Damned's Machine Gun Etiquette, which combines 70s punk energy with a slight hint of 60's garageness.

Once again, it's time for the Record You Should Own - and this month, it's the Replacements. The recent Ryko/Rhino reissue of Let It Be earns top marks, and quite frankly - you need to replace the worn-out tape or CD.

As many of you know, I have been blogging for the past four and a half years...and tomorrow will mark my 1,000th blog post. In addition, September 22nd is One Web Day, where bloggers, podcasters, and other Internet mavens discuss how the Internet has impacted their lives.

However, this is going to be a dual celebration, as this podcast will talk politics, and more importantly, how you can become a better citizen through the Internet.

The Internet. It's serious business. (Darn you, Ryan! Darn you to heck!)
